The story is played in a South African shopping complex, known as Oriental Plaza in Johannesburg.
Plot Summary
This story is about a wife of an important official of the African Front(Mrs Nebo) who was shopping. She was shopping in the Oriental Plaza, she came at one shop where she found a nice Indian dress which she liked so much and decided to buy it. The shopkeeper told her to look for a silk scarf to match the dress. As she went on shopping, she found came across one shop called 'Moghul Boutique'. She found a very nice silk scarf that matched her Indian dress and decided to buy it. The dress was a hundred and ten rands but Mrs Nebo was short of Ten rands. She wanted the dresss so badly but the money wasn't enough,so she decided to buy by cheque. The shopkeeper, Mr Sakur didn't wanted to accept the cheque as he never accepted before. It was clearly written on some board which reads 'No Credit. No Cheques. Cash Only.'. Mrs Nebo felt so challenged as the shopkeeper seemed to be doubting her honesty. Mrs Nebo's friend, Margaret tried to frighten Mr Sakur so that he would give in, but he never did. The other shopkeepers were afraid of the consequenses as the husband of Mrs Nebo was appointed to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the new government. They decided to buy the Silk Scarf and give it to Mrs Nebo as a gift. They wished her all the best and encouraged her to come back and shop there.
Main Character
Mrs Nebo is the main actor. She was the wife of an important official of the African Front. She was of medium height, with loins and had a smooth-skinned complexion. She was a honest lady and loved fashionable clothes. She was a politician. She is a determined lady and doesn't give up that easily.
